PES Lead Engineer/Principal Engineer. Hybrid role in Warrington (3 days per week in office - Mon/Tue/Wed), with occasional visits to Sellafield Site, suppliers, and contractors' facilities. £55-61/hour Inside IR35.

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced SNM PES Lead Engineer to act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Programmable Electronic Systems (PES) across the SNM project portfolio. This key role will see you delivering PES projects from concept through to handover, ensuring all deliverables meet Sellafield Ltd's high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will work closely with Senior/Responsible Engineers, operators, maintainers, safety case managers, and the wider Integrated Project Team (IPT) to define requirements, manage stakeholders, and deliver complex PES solutions. The role also involves overseeing supply chain delivery, verifying and validating technical outputs, and managing internal PES resources.
