Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily monitoring of refrigerator and room temperature.
Double-checks the deliveries of medicines at General Stockroom together with the Audit staff and the GSR staff.
Prepares request of medicines and IV fluids from General Stockroom.
Checks and receives medicines and IV fluids delivered by General Stockroom staff.
Prepares list of drugs for emergency purchase which are not carried and/or out-of stock in the pharmacy.
Facilitates stock transfer of medicines from OPD Pharmacy to Main Pharmacy and vice-versa, as well as pull-out of medicines from General Stockroom beyond office hours.
Charges and prepares medicines of outpatients with or without HMO.
Prepares and labels medicines of in-patients.
Validates all doctors' prescription received in pharmacy.
10. Double-checks all medicines to be dispensed prepared by the Pharmacy Assistants.
