Pharmacist (Day Shift / Operation)

Responsibilities

Provide professional pharmacy services to ensure prompt delivery of accurate, efficient and quality services to meet and exceed customer’s expectations.

Oversee all aspects of medication usage, including drug dispensing, distribution, storage and provision of drug information.

Perform appropriateness review of all prescriber orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness, and make necessary interventions prior to dispensing medications.

Follows through and documents all orders requiring clarification and/or alteration in a responsible and accountable manner in accordance with the highest professional standards, formulary compliance and hospital policy.

Provides information to health care practitioners or patients on the safe and effective use of medications.

Supervises the work of pharmacy technicians.
