Pharmacist Delegate, Emergency Response Roster

Overview

The Norwegian Red Cross (NoRC), part of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, invites applications for training that may lead to inclusion in the NoRC Emergency Response (ER) roster. This advertisement does not advertise a permanent position but creates a roster for specialists who can be deployed on short notice to international emergencies such as natural disasters, armed conflicts, health crises and climate‑related events.

Emergency Response Units (ERUs)

NoRC deploys ERUs that provide the following services:

• Prehospital Emergency Care
• Mobile and Fixed Health emergency clinics
• Emergency Hospitals
• Public health services
• Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH)
• Health ERUs, coordinated with IFRC and/or ICRC, to support national health systems where local capacity is damaged or overwhelmed
