Patient Focused Care Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development. Administer vaccines and immunizations
• Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
• Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindications, side effects, and proper usage and storage
• Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacists
• Injection certification is required
