JOB DESCRIPTION

Operation of Pharmacy

1. Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures.
2. To maintains pharmacy services in accordance with UKM Specialist Centre Sdn Bhd policies and standards as well as MOH regulations.
3. Ensure prescription directions for use, doses, medications instructions, therapeutic duplications or overlaps, allergy information and age specific dosage.
4. Ensure accuracy of all pharmaceutical products prepared or processed by technical staff/clinic assistant.
5. Provide medication information and medication therapy guidelines to the clinical staff as required.
6. Counsel patients regarding appropriate use of medications ie drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage.
7. Review patients profiles at the time of dispensing order and to closely monitor medication therapy.
