Unit Summary

Hamilton Health Sciences Pharmacy Services is redefining patient care as we leverage the most advanced technologies to enhance all aspects of delivering highly reliable, safe and quality care. We are a multi-site department offering a wide range of services within inpatient, ambulatory and retail pharmacy services. We have pharmacy facilities at the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, Hamilton General, McMaster University Medical Centre, St. Peter’s, West Lincoln, as well as three retail pharmacies (Cancer Centre Pharmacy, McMaster Drugstore and General Drugstore) and a drug access team for patient support. We are a tertiary care center offering a wide range of specialty patient services ranging from neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric and palliative care and are collaborators for clinical trials and research. Our services are offered with recently renovated state-of-the-art cleanroom facilities for sterile and non-sterile compounding.
