Pharmacy Assistant

Job Overview:

To support licensed pharmacists by managing daily operations, handling administrative tasks, and assisting customers, ensuring smooth workflow, accurate medication dispensing, and efficient patient care, ultimately freeing up pharmacists for clinical duties and improving overall pharmacy service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Be Informed and familiarized with stocks (old and new), prices, major indications, and stock locations. 
2. Check the correctness of the quantities and prices of items sold. 
3. Assist customers' queries and dispense drugs and other items for sale in the pharmacy to customers in professional, quick and friendly manner. 
4. Seek assistance of the Pharmacist when not knowledgeable regarding medicines and/or illnesses at stake. 
5. Maintain inventory, monitor expiration of products, and ensure gondolas are properly arranged and stocked. 
6. Maintain cleanliness of the store.
