Job Summary

The Pharmacy Assistant supports the daily operations of the pharmacy by assisting the Pharmacist in dispensing medications, maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and providing courteous customer service. The role ensures that pharmacy services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescriptions under supervision
• Receive, process, and file prescriptions accurately
• Provide customers with basic information regarding medications as instructed by the Pharmacist
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and orderliness of the pharmacy area
• Manage inventory, including receiving, storing, and monitoring stocks and expiry dates
