REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

B Pharm / BSc Pharm

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

3-5 years experience as a Pharmacist post community services with experience in communiyt of institutional / hospital pharmcy settings. At least 2 years of this experience should be in a private hospital/ instutional pharmacy setting.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Supervisory or managerial experience within a pharmacy setting

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Lead and manage the people in the department
• Manage pharmaceutical stock (own, loan and consignment)
• Manage and mitigate departmental risks
• Manage and control departmental budgets / finances
• Deliver a safe and efficient pharmaceutical service
• Provide an out-patient pharmacy service
