This role is a key part of the Pharmacy team on the Adult Assessment Unit and OPAL. Working with the Pharmacy and multidisciplinary team to provide an effective pharmacy service to patients on AAU and OPAL in line with local and national objectives, the Technician will act as an Accredited Checking Technician / Medicine Management Technician, completing clinical checks and counselling patients with their medicines. The role supports same day emergency care, transitions of care, dispensing accuracy checking duties and provides a 7‑day pharmacy service as per the agreed shift pattern.

Operating as a team member to deliver a clinical ward‑based pharmacy service.
