Job Description: Pharmacy Technician
Position Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently fill daily medication orders under the supervision of a pharmacist
Process returned medications and properly recycle or dispose of them per established procedures
Assist with prepacking frequently ordered medications, including labeling and storage during low-volume periods
Manually package medications and related materials
Pick and pull medications from shelving and designated storage areas (., prepack racks)
Apply labels to blister cards and scan products to ensure accuracy
Notify the pharmacist of any medication or product that does not scan properly
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring adequate stock of supplies at all times
Comply with all applicable regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
