**Job Description**

**The UW Medical Center - Northwest Pharmacy Department** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Pharmacy Technician** to join us in our **Center for Behavioral Health and Learning** building.

**WORK SCHEDULE**

• Part-Time / 35 hours per week

• Night Shift

**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**

• Perform a variety of pharmaceutical tasks under the general supervision and control of a licensed pharmacist

• Engage in accurate and timely medication procurement, preparation and dispensing

• Promote appropriate, safe, and effective medication use

**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

• Accurate and timely medication procurement, preparation and dispensing

• Restock drug storage areas and refill automated drug dispensing devices in all hospital areas

• Packaging of medications into single unit doses and preparation of patient-specific doses as needed
