Job Description
The position
The Department of Physics and Technology is thrilled to announce an opening for a PhD Fellow to join the exciting project, Cosmic Dust Injection into the Upper Earth Atmosphere (CODIA). The position is funded by the Research Council of Norway. The appointment is for a period of 3 years.
The position is affiliated with the Space Physics group of the Department, which at present includes 5 faculty members, 5 PhD Fellows, 2 Postdoctoral Research,Fellows and 1 Researcher.
The objective of the position is to complete research training to the level of a doctoral degree. Admission to the PhD programme is a prerequisite for employment, and the programme period starts on commencement of the position.
The workplace is at UiT in Tromsø. You must be able to start in the position within a reasonable time after receiving the offer.
