In collaboration with TU Delft, you will develop and test viable business models that turns greenhouse horticulture in hubs that generate, convert and store energy, not only for the local greenhouse but for the energy grid as a whole.

What you will do

In the Netherlands, greenhouse horticulture plays a key role in the energy system, mostly through its combination heat and power. However, these facilities are fuelled by natural gas, while the sector aims to be carbon-neutral by 2040.
