Phlebotomist (Blood Extraction only)

• Education: Graduate of Medical Laboratory Science, Phlebotomy, or equivalent health sciences course
• License / Certifications: MUST JHAVE Licensed Phlebotomist or Registered Medical Technologist Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is an advantage
• Knowledge: Knowledgeable in infection control, hygiene, and safe disposal of sharp and biohazard materials Understanding of veins, circulation, and human body systems related to blood collection Basic knowledge of phlebotomy tools, centrifuges, and sample storage requirements
