Job description: Phlebotomist Place of Performance: Tacoma, WA A-Team Solutions is seeking (1) Phlebotomist for the American Lake VA Outpatient Clinic in Tacoma, WA. This would be day shift Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. Job Duties: Perform venipuncture procedures on outpatient and inpatient veterans. -Accession and process laboratory specimens in accordance with VA and College of American Pathologists regulations. - Greet and log specimen orders in for outpatient veterans. Requirements: - High school graduate. - Completed a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) certified phlebotomy training program. - Minimum 1 year experience in phlebotomy in an inpatient or outpatient setting. - Experience with accessioning of laboratory specimens - Experience with processing of laboratory specimens - Capable of reading standard operating procedures and adhering them to the current laboratory processes. - Communicate clearly the daily status and problems about the laborato...
