A Phlebotomist is a healthcare professional responsible for drawing blood from patients for various medical tests, transfusions, or donations. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing blood draws using proper techniques and ensuring patient comfort.
• Labeling and documenting blood samples accurately for testing.
• Maintaining sterile environments to prevent contamination and infection.
• Collaborating with medical professionals to support clinical diagnostics and patient care.
• Handling patient interactions with care and addressing any concerns during the procedure.
• To become a phlebotomist, individuals typically need a high school diploma, completion of a phlebotomy certification program, and certification from recognized bodies.
