The Role
The phlebotomy department provides a venepuncture service on behalf of all services within the Acute Division of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
The post holder is responsible for the delivery of the Phlebotomy Service to wards in hospitals within the Acute Division, thus ensuring target times are met and adhered to for the delivery of blood specimens to the laboratories.
