**Phlebotomist**

**The Phlebotomist performs blood draws on patients who need diagnostic testing. The Phlebotomist is supervised by and works with the RNs to achieve timely pre-procedure blood draws and testing. The Phlebotomist must have interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patients, families, team members, physicians and ancillary staff.**

**Job Summary and Qualifications**

+ **You will demonstrate knowledge of physiology and function of the venous system of the human body, and collection techniques used to draw blood from patients.**
