Position Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a flexible and motivated individual to join the Phlebotomy Service as a Phlebotomist. You will be expected to work between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., 7 days a week, covering locations at Royal Derby Hospital, Florence Nightingale Hospital, Coleman Health Centre, Babington Hospital, Ilkeston Hospital, Ripley Hospital, Old Heanor Fire Station, St Oswalds Hospital, and Long Eaton Health Centre. This is a 7‑day service; following training you will work at Royal Derby Hospital on alternate weekends until 12 noon.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and process blood samples at varied locations throughout Derbyshire.
• Work independently to organise daily workload and meet departmental test turnaround targets.
