FLOWPATH LABORATORY HAS A VACANCY FOR A

JOB TITLE: PHLEBOTOMIST

AREA: PMB

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

*TIME CONDITIONS: Discussed During Interview (2 Positions Available)
*Call and shift work involved.

Purpose of Position:

• To provide quality customer service to consumers within the legal-ethical framework of the nursing profession.

Requirements:

• Certificate in phlebotomy techniques
• Registered with the HPCSA as a Medical technician in the category of Phlebotomy
• 1-2 years phlebotomy experience within a laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of the National Health Act
• Communication Skills
• Numerical Reasoning skills
• Must Have a Valid Drivers Licence (Code EB (08))

Advantageous:

• Level 1 first aid training
• Knowledge of computer systems
• Basic knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
• Computer Skills
