Job Description
- Conduct assessment procedures to determine physical impairments and functional limitations.
- Design and implement treatment procedures prescribed by Physiatrists to address patient's problems based on assessment results.
- Inform the patient of the treatment procedures and expected sensations with the treatment procedures given.
- Observe the patient's condition, and document each response to the treatment during the treatment session. Revise (Physiatrist/s must be fully informed of the changes made) treatment plans when a patient fails to respond or show adverse reaction/s to the treatment.
- Conduct thorough patient examination/ re-examination appropriate for the condition for which the patient has sought physical therapy care.
- Responsible for accurate documentation of all relevant assessment and treatment procedures and billing of physical therapy services provided.
