Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION
:Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness, independently or as part of a healthcare team. May focus on health promotion and disease prevention. May order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays. May prescribe.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment 
National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment 
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
