OVERVIEW

Michael Garron Hospital is a large, urban community teaching hospital serving a diverse population of over 400,000 people in East Toronto. Affiliated with the University of Toronto, MGH provides care for 20,000 inpatients, 60,000 emergency visits, and nearly 200,000 outpatient visits annually. With 500 beds, 2,400 employees, and 400 physicians, MGH delivers a wide range of acute, rehabilitation, and community-based services. The hospital is a founding partner of East Toronto Health Partners, working with health and social service agencies to improve access and coordination of care across the community.
