The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting for a full‑time position to be filled by a Physician Assistant (PA) at the Peter Lougheed Centre (PLC). A completed PA degree is required for eligibility to apply.
Description
The Peter Lougheed Centre (PLC) is a community hospital located in Calgary’s North East quadrant and serves a diverse patient population. The PLC has a very busy Labour/Delivery unit and delivers over 6,000 babies each year! We also manage a very busy Gynecology service (elective and emergency surgeries). The successful applicant will join a supportive and collegial group of obstetricians and gynecologists, and will work with resident physicians and nurse practitioners that are part of the team.
Expectations include working Monday to Friday (8‑hour workday) to support the OB/GYN team and patients admitted to our service. This may involve assisting with c‑sections on Labour/Delivery or in Gynecology...
