The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant/Clinical Assistant for a full-time position in Child & Adolescent Mental Health. The position will be located within the Health Sciences Center C&A Psychiatry program, including consultation in the Children's Hospital Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant/Clinical Assistant will be required to perform, order, and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic investigations and interventions. Duties include history and physical exams in settings such as the Emergency Department and wards, and following patients in pre, peri, and postoperative ward and other clinical settings. It also involves attending clinical and educational rounds. Administrative duties include documentation of all patient encounters in either dictation or electronic medical records where available.
