Under the supervision of a physician, provides direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services to patients in an assigned area/service.

Reports to: Director of Physician Practices

Qualifications

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Required Skills
Certifications:
□ Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire
Required Licenses
[Virginia,United States]Physician Assistant
and in good standing with the Board of Heath Professions.
Minimum Work Experience
Prefer previous experience in a clinic setting.
Minimum Work Experience
Previous experience with Athena and Meditech is strongly preferred.
