Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist

Summary We are looking for a skilled BE/BC Hematologists/Oncologist with a keen interest in teaching, clinical care, and clinical research to apply for a clinician-educator track position in the Hematology and Oncology section, Medical Service, at the Central Virginia VA Health Care System (CVHCS) and Virginia Commonwealth University. The section is multifaceted and has multiple physician-scientists and clinician-educators. Responsibilities The primary responsibilities include patient care, research, and teaching. The provider's duties encompass reviewing chart, examining and treating patients in ambulatory clinic, procedure clinic, infusion clinic and inpatient wards (consultation). The candidates will be able to teach more than 15 fellows who have their weekly continuity clinic at the VA and conduct research in close collaboration with many of the Richmond VA Cancer Center's physician-scientists and clinical investigators.
