Job Description

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology
Job Details:
Seeking two full-time, long-term locums physicians

Monday through Friday office hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Possible travel two days per week to outlying office in Somerset for office hours (30 minutes from main campus)

Complete daily hospital rounds and consults during assigned weeks

Hospital rounds and consults on Saturday and Sunday during assigned weekends (4 hours per day of onsite work)

Oversee advanced practice providers (APPs)

Handle after-hours call for clinic critical values or urgent patient matters (no need to return in person)

Consulting service only - no hospital admissions required

See 12-15 patients per shift

Work with comprehensive support staff including infusion nurses, navigators, and medical office assistants
