POSITION SUMMARY
The physician provides high quality, cost-effective patient care that supports established specialty practice objectives and strategic organizational goals. The physician diagnoses and treats illnesses and disorders in a competent manner that is consistent with medical practice and protocols. Patient care in inpatient setting is delivered in a cost-effective manner, managing and utilizing resources optimally. By demonstrating compassion and respect for the individual, the physician provides care that meets the customer's expectations. The physician works collaboratively with physician leaders, all medical staff, administration and staff to improve clinical outcomes. The physician participates in quality improvement efforts organization-wide and plays an active role as a member of medical staff committees.
