Physician /Psychiatrist / Topeka, Kansas

The Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, KS is recruiting for a full-time BE/BC Psychiatrist to primarily work in an outpatient setting doing patient evaluations and treatment. Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, general medical conditions that relate to psychiatric conditions, and training in at least one modality of psychotherapy is required. Inpatient medicine consultation, conducting compensation and pension examinations, and emergency room evaluations and follow-up will occasionally be required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Licensure: Any full and unrestricted license from any US State or Territory is sufficient to work at any VA Medical Center.

Office Hours: Generally Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm plus Saturday morning clinic (2-4 hours each) approximately 4 times per year on rotating basis
