Physician – Surgeon-in-Chief at William Beaumont University Hospital and Chair, Department of Surgery at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine

The Department of Surgical Services at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is recruiting a full-time surgeon who will also serve as the Chair of Pathology, Oakland University Willian Beaumont School of Medicine (OUWB), and as the Surgeon-in-Chief, William Beaumont University Hospital (WBUH) and Chair of Surgery, Oakland University Willian Beaumont School of Medicine (OUWB). Leadership experience and Board certification from an American Board of a surgical discipline is required. This position is located at Corewell Health’s Royal Oak campus.


Annually, approximately 43,000 surgical procedures are performed at WBUH each year. Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is aligned with Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. There are residency programs and post-residency fellowship training programs in a variety of surgical disciplines. Academic appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
