Physician - Surgery Intensivist

Summary We are looking for a skilled Intensivist at Central Virginia VA Health Care System in Richmond, Virginia. This is a full-time position in the surgical intensive care unit at a busy level 1A facility. The Surgery Intensivist is responsible for providing care to all surgical patients with critical care needs, including neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, urology, vascular and general surgery. Candidates will work with an experienced advanced practice provider (APP) team. Responsibilities The Central Virginia VA Health Care System (CVHCS) is a level 1a 349-bed facility offering primary, secondary, and tertiary health care in medicine, surgery, neurology, rehabilitation medicine, intermediate care, acute and sustaining spinal cord injury, skilled nursing home care, and palliative care.
