Phytopathology & Research Specialist

JOB OBJECTIVES:

· Responsible for the analysis of all samples submitted to the laboratory.

· Responsible for developing procedures needed for monitoring and research.

· Responsible for all other work required by the laboratory superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct plant disease diagnosis and agricultural sample analysis

· Perform microorganism isolation and biological control production

· Conduct nematode and physico-chemical analyses

· Maintain laboratory records (ISO 17025 & food safety compliance)

· Monitor laboratory inventory and equipment

· Assist in research, aquaculture support, and water quality monitoring

Qualifications:

· BS Agriculture major in Plant Pathology (Preferably Licensed Agriculturist)

· At least 6 months laboratory experience
