Job Description
Become a catalyst for innovation at Photonic as a Senior PIC Design Engineer in British Columbia. Optimize and design complex photonic integrated circuits for cutting-edge quantum computing.
Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in relevant fields and have over 5 years of experience in the silicon photonics sector. You will enhance large-scale integrated circuits and generate necessary software for design optimization. Working within a skilled team, your insights and analyses will shape the future direction of photonic devices and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design large-scale silicon photonic integrated circuits
• Generate new software for design and analysis needs
• Collaborate with external foundries and manufacturers
• Conduct trading studies for alternative designs
• Mentor teammates in best practices
