We are actively seeking a Pipefitter to perform quality piping work on various types of vessels at our Verreault shipyard.

YOUR TYPICAL DAY
Reporting to the Superintendent – Piping, you will have to:
Identify the different types of valves (globe valve, gate valve, butterfly valve) and perform disassembly and assembly of valve components;
Perform polishing and grinding of valve discs;
Perform cleaning and marking of parts and identify the types of seals to be used;
Participate in the assembly of connections on the ship (fire line and seawage);
Operate a chain hoist;
Perform air test before starting work in a confined space;
Implement various plumbing techniques (welding, tracing, cutting, bending, gluing, etc.);
