Pipelayer

Tomlinson is Eastern Canada’s leader in environmental, construction and transportation infrastructure services. Our Sewer and Watermain group is currently seeking to hire Pipelayers to join their team. This position provides full-time hours and working from Monday to Friday, from 7:00AM to 5:30PM. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and their own transportation to get to site.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERIENCE:

· Check grades and read plans

· Knowledgeable of using a variety of hand tools and ability to cut pipe of various material

· Read grade stakes and have the ability to set up laser

· Strong knowledge of pipelaying techniques directly related to sewer and water - Watermain, Sanitary and Storm.

· Working knowledge of pipe and fittings utilized in sewer and water main work.
