The successful Plane Captain performs aircraft handling, servicing, daily and turn around inspections as required. Provides pre-operational inspections and fuels ground support equipment, technical assistance, guidance.
Essential Responsibilities:
Performs the duties and responsibilities of the Aircraft Washer and Plane Captain Helper classifications.
Performs daily and turn around inspections as required to the applicable procedures.
Initiates and completes applicable maintenance forms.
Performs Aircraft fuel sampling/servicing as required IAW established procedures.
Launches and recovers aircraft.
Serves as aircraft taxi director during launch and recovery operations.
Tows aircraft and act as aircraft brake rider when required.
