Description

Responsible of purchases and supplies of direct material for the production area, in such a way as to ensure continuity according to the production program.

Key Responsibilities

• MRP analysis
• Enter purchase orders based on current demand and lead times, confirm with supplier deliveries on time and track shipments to import.
• Keep purchase orders updated.
• Expedite and defer material based on current demand.
• Give the appropriated feedback about shortage material in reports as showstopper report and materials binnacle.
• Follow up and ensure the delivery of shortage material in production line.
• Review material in consignment and with Kanban level.
• Review obsolete and slow-moving inventory for disposal.
• Review discrepancies with material and prices (buyer exception report). ...
