Overview

Responsible for the purchase and supplies of direct materials for the production area, ensuring continuity according to the production program.

Key Responsibilities

• MRP analysis
• Enter purchase orders based on current demand and lead times, confirm deliveries on time and track shipments for import.
• Keep purchase orders updated.
• Expedite and defer material based on current demand.
• Provide feedback about shortage material in reports (showstopper report and materials binnacle).
• Follow up and ensure delivery of shortage material in the production line.
• Review material in consignment and with Kanban level.
• Review obsolete and slow‑moving inventory for disposal.
• Review discrepancies with material and prices (buyer exception report).
