Job Description

 
  Overview 
 A leading fmcg company situated in Cape Town is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Planner to join their team.
  The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for: 
 Review Safety Stocks, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) & Lot Sizes on a monthly basis.
 Manage run-out raw materials and change over to alternatives.
 Ensure inventory levels are maintained at predetermined levels.
 Communicate and assist with action plans with relevant departments to eliminate/use at risk, slow moving inventories.
 Ensure the MRP Suggested Purchases are actioned on a daily basis to ensure production schedules are not compromised.
 Ensure timely delivery of materials whilst striving to minimize stock levels and assist with warehouse capacity constraints.
