Parkland County has an opportunity for a permanent, full-time Planner II, Subdivision position in the Planning & Development Services department. Reporting to the Manager, Subdivision Planning, The Planner II, Subdivision is responsible for managing, reviewing, and providing recommendations on subdivision planning projects. This may include leading applications for conceptual schemes, subdivisions, redistricting, development agreements, and naming and addressing, as well as advancing non-statutory plans, policies, reports, and studies. The role also involves offering technical advice, promoting continuous improvement of programs and policies, and representing the County on various committees. Additionally, this position provides sound planning advice to leaders and supports a range of planning projects, issues, and applications.
