ResponsibilitiesThe Town of Paradise is inviting applications for the position of Planner (Maternity Leave Replacement). Under the direction of the Director of Planning and Protective Services, this position is primarily responsible for conducting research and analysis in matters related to long range planning functions of the Department. The Planner conducts studies and analysis of land use and related issues within the Town and advises the Director of Planning and Protective Services accordingly. The Planner performs research related to land use, development proposals, zoning, subdivision design, economics, population transportation, parks and recreation space development and allocation, environmental and social matters.QualificationsGraduation from an accredited institution with a University Degree in Planning or a Planning Technology Diploma supplemented with employment experience in municipal planning.
