Planner

The Role

The Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling & coordinating production activities and material requirements to ensure efficient manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and capacity constraints.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly work orders and master production plans.
• Monitor production progress to ensure adherence to schedules and adjust plans when necessary.

2. Material & Inventory Planning

• Coordinate material requirements with procurement to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials and components.
• Monitor inventory levels and flag shortages or excesses to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Work with purchasing on purchase requisitions and delivery timelines.

3. Cross-Department Collaboration
