Planning & Assessment Officer

We are seeking a Planning and Assessment Officer to join a prominent Western Australian public sector entity for an initial 6-month engagement.

You will go beyond simple paperwork to analyse the big picture of development impacts, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the state's transport infrastructure .

What You'll Be Doing

• Assessing and reviewing various development and subdivision applications, referrals, and general planning enquiries .
• Analysing traffic and transport impacts , specifically evaluating access arrangements and network implications of new proposals .
• Providing thorough responses to applicants and stakeholders (such as Local Governments) using a wide selection of research systems .
