Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction progress regularly using scheduling software and actual feedback data.
• Review and assess contractors baseline program revised schedules progress updates and look-ahead schedules.
• Identify variances between scheduled and actual progress; recommend corrective actions and mitigation strategies.
• Require and review contractors revised programs when progress is not satisfactory or falls behind schedule.
• Provide technical input and analysis on Extension of Time (EOT) claims concurrent delays and Time Impact Analysis (TIA).
• Verify contractors recovery plans acceleration proposals and evaluate their effectiveness to meet project timelines.
• Assist in identifying project obstacles or risks and propose solutions to prevent delays.
• Review and ensure accuracy of contractors resource-loaded cost-loaded and man-hour schedules.
