Planning Engineer

Job Summary

The Planning Engineer is responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination between site and office teams. The role ensures that project timelines, resources, and reports are properly managed to support on-time and on-budget project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and monitor project schedules (baseline, catch-up, and recovery schedules).
• Develop work programs, manpower schedules, and equipment deployment plans.
• Monitor project progress and compare actual accomplishments versus planned targets.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, and dashboards for management.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors regarding work progress and constraints.
• Assist in planning construction sequences and methodologies.
• Knowledgeable in Primavera P6 Software
