PLANNING MANAGER

SITE: PROSPECTON, DURBAN

DIVISION: KWAZULU-NATAL

REPORTING TO: OPERATIONS MANAGER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Overseeing and developing plans to cost-effectively transform the unconstrained demand from the market through a constrained module and still achieve the business objectives. This will be achieved through managing and directing the supply chain planning department, process, and systems so that marketing demands are met at lowest cost.

CUSTOMER QUALITY SERVICE DELIVERY

• Achieve the insertion capacity and lead time requirements of the Business Unit (BU) throughout the forecast period by creating and professionally articulating operational plans which include but are not limited to stock building, intergroup outsourcing, shift patterns, capacity utilisation, planning rules, pull production, warehouse planning and Capex.
