Planning Manager

The purpose of this role is to manage a team of media planners and assist the Account Director on a day to day basis. This is to ensure that their teams are delivering plans that deliver against client objectives whilst balancing agency trading objectives.

Job Description

• Manages team members in order to deliver their individual personal growth targets
• Overseas output from the team, providing quality control on any documents produced by the team
• Understands the trading implications of planning decisions made to ensure agency and client objectives are delivered
• Understands and ensures that each team member fully understand and can deliver against client key performance indicators/targets
• Supports the Account Director to ensure client and the business' priorities are filtered through to the team
• Manages upwards to ensure any challenges are resolved quickly and timely
